As of present I am about 8400 days old, which also means I’ve been alive for the approximate figure of 12-million minutes. These figures really mean nothing besides it is my 23rd birthday, which actually means this is my 24th year of life.

Although if you count the time I gestated, I still have about 3 months to hit the point my life actually began. Which, had I not gone to an all boys highschool, this thought would have likely broken my mind. However the “You know your parents had sex” game was a frequent hit. The best I remember was someone pointing out, just before Christmas break, that Christmas was likely the day he was conceived (going on the special occasions theory of procreation). It really kills someone’s Christmas spirit when you make it remind them of their parents fornicating… and that’s why children are evil!

Easter Bunny

Yesterday was Baxter’s, our pet rabbit’s, birthday. He’s now reached the might age of two. He’s stopped misbehaving nearly as much as he used to, he’s now very affectionate and actually responds (somewhat) to his own name. We’re not sure of his exact birth date, but our estimates landed him right around Easter, so why not Easter Sunday no less?

His birthday is going to be a little late next year, what with it landing on the 24th April (well done Catholic Church, can’t figure out when you saviour died? Jeeze, you call that an organized religion). We’re not going to check his litter box for any Easter eggs, that would be a little too gross.

Anyway, happy belated birthday notice to my illiterate and non-web-active pet (damn animals these days need to go get themselves a twitter account).

Busy Week

Last week was a busy week, as of about 2:30 on Tuesday I became a fully fledged Canadian Permanent Resident — took long enough. Friday marked the beginning of my twenty-second year on this fateful planet, which means I’m just that little bit older, wiser and have less of a justifiable reason to want to spend my free time watching movies and playing video games, but I doubt that’s going to change any.

A review of Repo Men is on its way, when I get enough free time.
